As of April 27 2009, travellers from Canada are recommended to postpone elective or non-essential travel to Mexico until further notice.

Infection Control Strategies for Influenza

To prevent the spread of any flu-like symptoms, please follow these guidelines:

Practice good hand hygiene - running water and soap or alcohol-based hand-sanitizer must be used
Use respiratory cough etiquette - if you cough or sneeze, shield others by doing it in the crook of your arm
Minimize contact with family members, and avoid going out in public
Do not go to work until symptoms have resolved
