Hospital Service Accountability Agreements
The Middlesex Hospital Alliance (MHA) is posting here the approved Hospital Service Accountability Agreements (HSAA) relevant to the Alliance's two sites. This posting is in compliance with a directive from the Local Health Integrated Network (LHIN) / Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC).
According to the MOHLTC, the Accountability Agreement process "is aimed at helping hospitals identify efficiencies to strengthen their operations and achieve a balanced operating position."
The HSAA process also is part of the transition of accountability and service agreements from the MOHLTC to the LHINs.
Posted here are the HSAAs for Four Counties Health Services (FCHS) and Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital (SMGH). These can be opened on your desktop computer with Adobe Reader (available at http://www.adobe.com/ ).
Every Ontario Hospital's HSAA document is produced from a "template" supplied to hospitals by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. This template and the Hospital Annual Planning Submission (HAPS) Completion Guide, form the basis of contractual performance targets.
