Hospital Service Accountability Agreements

The Middlesex Hospital Alliance (MHA) approved Hospital Service Accountability Agreements (HSAA) are posted in compliance with a directive from the South West Local Health Integrated Network (LHIN) / Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC). The Accountability Agreement process “is aimed at helping hospitals identify efficiencies to strengthen their operations and achieve a balanced operating position.”

Every Ontario Hospital’s HSAA document is produced from a “template” supplied to hospitals by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. This template and the Hospital Annual Planning Submission (HAPS) Completion Guide, form the basis of contractual performance targets.
