London, Ontario. The MHA Information Systems and Telecommunications (IST) Department currently has an opening for a FULL-TIME INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND TELECOMMUNICATION SUPPORT ANALYST
Reporting to the IST Service Manager, the IST support Analyst is responsible for providing excellence in customer service to all within the MHA.
This full-time position requires a graduate of a 2-3 year college program in Information systems or a related field. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years recent, related experience in IT and demonstrate understanding of technology, with preference being given to candidates possessing experience with clinical processes, cataloging, good documentation skills and the hospital environment including experience with: Cerner clinical applications, Microsoft Citrix, VMWare, Active Directory, Servers, Workstations, and audio/video systems. Having experience with telecommunications systems such as Nortel/Avaya is preferred. This position will require working closely with software vendors, technical team members and business partners to resolve complex application issues.
The successful candidate will have strong critical thinking, time management and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with tact, diplomacy and professionalism. Demonstrated ability to multi-task while working both independently and as part of a team, and managing competing priorities, will require superior organizational skills to remain effective while working under pressure.
With a demonstrated commitment to customer service, the successful candidate will have experience training individuals and groups, have a knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety, while safeguarding confidential information. The successful candidate must have a strong desire to continuously learn and share that information with others

This position will require working at both sites of the MHA. Possession of a valid class “G” driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.
