TEMPORARY CASUAL PART TIME MEDICAL RADIATION TECHNOLOGIST

Diagnostic Imaging Department One Year Duration

Job Duties

  • Position available May 01, 2013
  • Available for all shifts (7.5h) including nights, weekends,  stat holidays  and on call rotations
  • Ability to perform all general and mobile radiography requests
  • Ability to perform all OR Fluoroscopy requests
  • Ability to perform non-contrast exams CT of the head, Cervical spine and Abdomen

Job Qualifications

  • Current Registration with the CMRTO, with CAMRT/ OARMT registration preferred
  • Current CPR an asset
  • Demonstrated skills in Cerner HIS/RIS and GE Centricity PACS
  • Ability to assess concurrent demands, set priorities, organize work and maintain accuracy in a busy environment.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal communication and critical thinking skills
  • Strong team player with the ability to perform duties independently and professionally
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development and self-directed learning
  • Demonstrated excellence in attendance
  • Understanding and demonstrated use of good body mechanics
