CASUAL OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST – Rehabilitation Department – approximately one Wednesday per month

Job Duties
• Position available immediately
• Case load is a combination of both inpatients and outpatients
• This is a newly formed position within the memory clinic at FCHS, working with a trained staff from family health team Alzheimer’s society, and hospital
• This position will provide cognitive and/or perceptual assessments and intervention, ADL assessments and mobility training

Job Qualifications
• Master of Science or Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current Registration with College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
• ADP authorization preferred
• Must possess excellent motivational and educational skills to facilitate client and Must have current CPR certification
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic Computer Skills in a Windows environment, including Outlook and Microsoft Word
• Demonstrated excellence in attendance
• Possess a valid Class G driver’s license
• May be required to travel to both sites
