Four Counties Health Services is a modern primary care hospital serving a primary catchment area of 23,000 residents. It is located in the village of Newbury, at the intersection of Lambton, Kent, Middlesex, and Elgin Counties (approximately halfway between London and Chatham). FCHS is located in a peaceful country setting with easy access to the 401 express highway, and, the US border into Michigan. The facility provides 24 hour emergency and medical care as well as numerous diagnostic and ambulatory services. Four Counties Health Services and Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital are partners in the Middlesex Hospital Alliance (MHA), a progressive, team oriented and technologically adept organization of excellence. The MHA was accredited with exemplary status in the fall of 2013. We are proud to provide quality, personalized care to the rural communities west and southwest of London Ontario.

We are looking for a dynamic leader with demonstrated management and administrative skills to support the growth and development of Four Counties Health Services to meet the future needs of the communities we serve. This leadership position is central to the successful operation of FCHS and MHA, and collaborates with corporate leaders to facilitate the smooth functioning of day to day site operations. It is a position requiring strong leadership, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strategic planning and team building capabilities, together with financial and administrative expertise. This position reports directly to the President & CEO of the MHA, and will provide regular formal progress reports on the implementation of these plans. You will ensure that the appropriate systems, resources and other infrastructures are in place to ensure the primary healthcare objectives of FCHS and MHA are achieved.

As VP of Strategic Partnerships, you will develop strategic partnerships and alliances with regional healthcare providers and community based organizations and foster community engagement to help deliver the vision, mission and strategic objectives of the organization and contribute to the MHA brand. You will also work in close collaboration with the President & CEO as well as members of the senior leadership team.

A successful track record of organizational management at the senior level in the health care sector with financial and clinical experience backed by a graduate degree in a business or health-related discipline, or a suitable combination of education and experience will be an asset. The successful candidate must be a team player possessing high integrity, confidence and maturity with a proven ability to initiate and develop relationships with partners and the community. As this is a newly created position, the role and responsibilities of the VP Strategic Planning/FCHS Site Director will evolve.
