TEMPORARY PART-TIME CLERK – TO COVER A PERIOD OF UP TO 9 MONTHS – Diabetes Education Program

Job Duties:
• The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Diabetes Education Program at Four Counties Health Services
• Position available August 2019
• Duties include but are not limited to:
o Patient scheduling and customer service
o Data entry, analysis and report preparation
o Volunteer duty coordination
o Resource/office supply purchases
o General office duties

Job Qualifications:
• Secondary School Diploma, Medical Office Assistant Diploma or minimum of 2 years related healthcare experience
• Demonstrated computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, Word, Publisher and PowerPoint
• Cerner scheduling and Powerchart experience, preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent team and customer service skills
• Strong ability to accurately multitask duties in a busy environment
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends as required
• Possess a valid Class G driver’s license and have own means of transportation
• Incumbent should be prepared to travel between FCHS and SMGH
• Demonstrated excellence in attendance
