Human Resources Department

Job Duties

  • Position available immediately
  • Currently office hours Monday – Friday day shifts
  • Assist with interviews, reference checks, letter writing, as required
  • Manage day to day function of employee movement
  • Data input in Human Resources specific programs, including Parklane, MediPay and Access
  • Completion of reports as required
  • Filing
  • Perform receptionist duties
  • Perform other duties as required

Job Qualifications

  • Secondary School Graduation Diploma
  • Current enrolment in a Human Resources Program at an accredited post secondary level
  • Exceptional computer competency within a Windows environment including Access, Word, and Excel, required
  • Completion of an administrative college program, or relevant experience, an asset
  • Previous exposure to Human Resources processes, preferred
  • Previous experience in a health care environment, an asset
  • Basic knowledge of payroll functions, and benefit administration an asset
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and prioritize workload
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with hospital and medical staff as well as external clients
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to recognize the importance of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Self motivated; ability to complete responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated excellence in attendance
  • Possess the aptitude, ability and desire to upgrade skills
  • Understanding and use of good body mechanics
  • Possession of valid Class G license, travel to Four Counties Health Services, Newbury is required.
