Job Duties:
• Available for all 4.0, 7.5 and 11.25 hours shifts including weekends,
Statutory holidays
• Positions available: July 22, 2014

Job Qualifications
• Secondary School Diploma required
• Health Care Office Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience required
• Current experience as ED clerk – min. 2 – 3 yrs ( 1,950 equivalent hrs)
• Current experience with ERNI data entry – min 2 – 3 yrs ( 1,950 equivalent hours)
• Current experience with CERNER – min. 2-3 yrs (1,950 equivalent hours)
• Current experience with navigating FIRST NET and assisting with HUGO inputting from ED perspective required
• Current experience completing payroll required
• Demonstrated understanding of ONA Collective Agreement for call-ins, staffing and scheduling
• Proficient Computer Skills in a “windows based environment including Excel, Work, Access and Internet/Intranet
• Excellent clerical skills – phone etiquette, public relations, accuracy and attention to detail, ability to multitask under busy and stressful environment
• Book tests, procedures, consults and follow-up appointments
• Perform other clerical duties, such as portering as necessary and/or as requested
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Demonstrated excellence in attendance
• Understanding and use of good body mechanics
