TEMPORARY PART-TIME REGISTERED DIETITIAN- Diabetes Education Program – To cover a leave of approximately 3 months
Job Duties:
• Position Available Immediately

Job Qualifications:
• Membership in the College of Dietitians of Ontario required
• Diabetes education clinical experience an asset
• Demonstrate effective interviewing skills, written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking
• Exhibit collaboration and communication skills to be an effective team member
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, e-mail, and literature searches
Main Duties:
• Provide individual and group nutrition assessment, counseling and evaluation of outpatients with diabetes and pre-diabetes
• Electronic charting
• Provide nutrition education to people with diabetes at various community outreach clinics and events
• Special projects as assigned
